- Introduces the fundamentals of real-world integrated systems such as safety, conveyor, electrical controls, motion sensing, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Provides industry-grade components in a compact, multi-station system, allowing learners to see how subsystems interact in context—like a real production environment.
- Supports hands-on troubleshooting and safety training using realistic equipment behavior, interlocks, and system feedback.
- Enables scenario-based learning with pre-programmed faults that instructors can use to build diagnostics and problem-solving skills.
- Delivers authentic automation experiences through a GuardLogix Safety PLC, distributed I/O, industrial Ethernet, VFD control, and vision integration.
AMTEC CUBE Simulator Technical Data Sheets
AMTEC CUBE Simulator
The CUBE Simulator was designed for flexible lab use and easy deployment—mobile on casters, fits through a standard 36” door, and plugs into a standard 120VAC 15amp outlet. This machine can be used to provide a platform for troubleshooting and safety training as well as reinforcing basic principles learned in a classroom environment. It was specifically designed to support the AMTEC curriculum.
The CUBE Simulator is designed with:
- Industry Approved Components
- Allen Bradley GuardLogix Programmable Logic Controls
- Networked Device Communications
- Pre-Programmed Faults
- Multiple Wiring Methodologies
- Conveyor Features Belt Design
- Remote Operation of HMI Uses Vijeo Design Air App
- Simulator Provides Compressed Air
The CUBE will support technical training at a variety of institutions including schools and companies. It is a viable platform for Industry 4.0 and “Lean Manufacturing” training.
