Shaping the Future of Manufacturing
AMTEC is advancing manufacturing education with the launch of the AMTEC Institute for Industry 4.0 Innovation (AI3), supported by a $642,949 National Science Foundation grant. This initiative will provide in-depth professional development to 100 educators, equipping them with the latest Industry 4.0 technologies to better prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing.
Since 2018, AMTEC has been at the forefront of manufacturing education, offering innovative training through Owensboro Community & Technical College. This new project will continue to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and industry needs, ensuring the next generation of technicians is ready to meet the evolving demands of the workforce.
