The curriculum outline was taken from the 2012 DACUM study as well. (Learn more about the DACUM study here. While the assessments were being created, the AMTEC team worked with a group of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) across the country to create the needed materials for the curriculum. These subject matter experts are the actual maintenance workers that are performing the tasks on a daily basis in their roles on the factory floors. AMTEC partnered with ITS (Interactive Training Systems in Fenton Michigan) to take all of the input from the SME’s and develop an online modularized curriculum.
